“LQ has provided South Shore Reading Council (SSRC) with critical information on grants, policies and the ministry’s current thinking. This information is invaluable since SSRC relies heavily on MELS grants for funding. If LQ did only that it would be worthwhile, but it does much more.
If not for LQ I would have virtually no contact with other English speaking community based literacy providers. I would not have the opportunity to learn and share information with people who share my concerns and do the same work as I do. I also benefit from projects undertaken by LQ, these would not be accessible to me otherwise.”
