LaceUp4Literacy Charity Challenge – Recap

April 22, 2026

On April 18, we attended Parc Jean-Drapeau for our annual LaceUp4Literacy Charity Challenge, an event organized by the 21k Nespresso de Montreal.

Our fundraisers laced up their running shoes and completed their respective courses, including 10K, 5K, and 1K distances to raise money for literacy-related projects. Joining us this year are other not-for-profits, including our member RECLAIM Literacy, a community-based literacy organization offering services in the Greater Montreal Area to individuals and organizations needing help with literacy needs. We are also joined by Scattered Automatic Expression Association, an organization whose mission is to empower individuals from all walks of life to take control of their mental well-being through mindfulness exercises and automatic writing. In addition to the courses, we held a kiosk with various free resources to increase our reach, visibility, and support our mission.

All in all, the event was a wonderful opportunity to collaborate with others and support literacy skills-building.

You still have until May 10th to donate. If you’d like to support the missions of Literacy Quebec, RECLAIM Literacy, and/or Scattered Automatic Expression, please click here.
